Kingdom Project: ZEJ Version

  1. Forum moves are always fun.

    Well the other site is still up and we already have the party members. So no need to explain everything again unless I plan to make a sequel.(Which depends on public opinion of this one.)

    So just post you're old profiles. Yea, sorry about the unprofessionalism but I already DID this.

    Hello there all, this is my first attempt as what I will refer to as Kingdom Project it will be a game (and if this goes well, a series) where I ask four forum goers to make me characters that I will send on a "quest."

    And by "quest" I mean whoever you make will star in a video game. A turn based RPG to be exact.

    I don't feel like thinking of all the possible questions that may arrive here, so just go ahead and ask me yourself via PM and I'll reply (as well as edit the Q&A into this post)

    Now I ask if you do sign up please PLEASE don't disappear before your character is done, I'm only allowing four people this time (I tried this before but had no idea what I was doing, it was called CoU mini RPG)

    Now without further adieu let's see the character development sheet. This should cover everything but skills, which I will make a different thread for because those are complex and take up a lot of room.Please PM me your sheets before posting.

    Appearance.
    This IS important in game. Make the sprite here

    Stats
    You have 20 points to add. No stat may go above five. You CAN add Zero, but if you do that with MP or HP I'mma smack you up. B|
    HP: Reach Zero and you die
    SP: You use skills with this
    STG: Your basic attack damage and damage for some skills
    DEF: Your defense against basic attacks and some skills
    PWR: Damage for some skills, as well as defense for some skills
    SPD: Determines turn order and affects evasion.

    Gear:
    What type of weapons and armors does your dude(or dudette) use?

    and Don't forget that you'll have to bear with the skill making (the hard part) as well, but that can hold off for a little.

    Steel Dart: A simple metal dart is fired at extreme speed to puncture a target's vital point.

    -Causes: Bleed

    Metalic Wall: A wall of miscellaneous metal fusions is planted into the ground in order to emerge and deflect oncoming attacks.
    -Increases DEF of party by 50% with 15% of wearing out.

    Liquid Steel: Manipulates metal as if it where water, using it to wrap, trap, and then crush the foe.
    -100% STR
    -Causes: Disable

    Iron Engulf: The iron in all foes is increased, making them sluggish.
    -Causes: Iron Blood

    Iron Maiden: Two large slabs of iron are called forth to crush the target from two sides.
    -120% STR
    -Causes: Disable

    Iron-ic End: Makes the iron inside of the target to explode out of them, ripping them apart from the inside.
    -200% STR
    -Causes: Bleed
    -Effects all targets with Iron Blood
    -"Cures" Iron Blood

    Adamantine Hammer: Improves the durability, but also the weight, of his great weapon, allowing to strike foes more potently.
    -100% bonus to STR with 40% decrease to SPD

    Steel Dart Storm: An improvement on the Dart technique, creating hundreds to lay waste to foes.
    -150% STR; all foes
    -Causes: Bleed

    Master Smith: Fortifies allies with rapidly shifting liquid metal that repels opposing attacks.
    -50% DEF and 40% PWR increase to party for 5 turns

    Metalic Ultimatum: Liquified metal washes over all enemies, which then solidifies to trap foes and then impale them with spikes appearing within the cold prison.
    -100% STR all foes
    -Causes: Disable
    -Causes: Iron Blood
    -Causes: Bleed

    *Effects to be explained:
    Disable [Chance: 60%]: Prevents afflicted from acting. 1-turn duration
    Iron Blood [Chance: 80%]: Slows afflicted by 20%. 2 turn duration
    Bleed [Chance: 40%]: Damage over time for 3 turns.

  6. Development of the game it self shall start now, My deadline is two months, though with school I may have to extend this now, three months tops.

    Wish me luck, and I hope we get a game enjoyable by all for our efforts.

    I will be accepting ideas for dungeons and boss monsters.

    There will be no fillout for these however, you will have to PM back and forward with me to develop the idea. Anyone is welcome to make these suggestions, not just the character makers. Note that unlike these characters, I don't have to accept your idea if I think it isn't good; however, it would have to be rather bad for me to deny it.

    THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN ABOUT, BOYS AND GIRLZ.

    I challenge you guys to make bosses and enemies that can stump the characters made by Zio, Fallen, Vero, and I. Good luck with this task, since I'm pretty sure our characters will be able to take down any possible threat that you wimpy creators could whip up. Prove me wrong, ZEJ. DO IT.
